Very very good information for me
I became a Diabetic at age 8, although I'll always be labeled a Diabetic, I no longer take insulin shots. Two years ago I had a Kidney Transplant and one year ago I had a Pancres Transplant. Today I am very healthy and so happy to be able to eat what ever I want. I'm just glad that I'm healthy once again and that my quality of life will allow me to live life at it's fullest. Being a Diabetic for 40 years, wasn't that bad. I always watched what I ate and made sure It was always healthy. Good rule that I always followed was If I wasn't sure if I should eat something, then I just ayed away from those foods. Another thing.....check your blood sugars OFTEN. Good luck!! Karen
